Start from the door placard, usually around 35 psi for factory SL tires. Owners running load-range E tires often use about 36 to 40 psi daily and air down off-road.
No. 80 psi is the maximum inflation for a load-range E tire, not a daily setting. Running it that high on an empty mid-size truck rides harshly and wears the center.
